Sports Facilities
The Rugby School Sports Centre has a range of superb facilities which are available for individuals to enjoy through membership packages or for clubs and other organisations to hire individually.
The sports facilities include:
- A Nautilus fitness centre
- A 25 metre, 6 lane swimming pool
- 3 Squash Courts
- A large sports hall for badminton, 5-a-side football, cricket and other activities
- Up to 32 outdoor tennis courts, including 3 of competition standard
- Two outdoor all-weather, floodlit, synthetic, full-size pitches for hockey, football and other sports.
In addition, there are two full-size polo grounds, with access to stabling, 12 rugby pitches (including The Close – where the game began) cricket pitches and surrounding land of over 50 acres.
The Sports Centre also offers a number of additional services including:
- Swimming lessons for children and adults
- Activity courses during the holiday periods
- Over 50s' Activities and a Young Club
- Children’s parties
- Swim Distance Days
- Parent and Toddler sessions
- Swimming Teacher ASA Level 1 and 2 Certificates
