Four Rugby School pupils were invited by BBC Introducing to their studios in Luton for a live radio interview collectively as the four-piece band known as ‘The Circus’.
BBC Introducing is a section of the BBC dedicated to spotting and supporting upcoming musical talent from around the country, and only a selection of people are requested for interviews.
Previous artists who have taken part in the same program include the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Ed Sheeran, and Florence and The Machine.
‘The Circus’ interview, with band members Ali Horler, Luke Stafford, Matt Gallagher and Jack Baron, involved an airplay of their song, ‘Become Like Me’ and questions about their current and future plans.
The broadcast took place across the UK on BBC 3 Counties radio in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. The band has been asked to keep in touch with BBC Introducing to notify them of any further releases or live performances in the future.
‘Become Like Me’ and the rest of The Circus’ four-track EP is available on iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/the-circus-ep/id470393839
