Careers Department
The Careers Department at Rugby School aims to prepare pupils for adult life and the working world by inspiring a positive self-attitude. We endeavour to raise ambitions, to stimulate goal-setting and to ensure pupils are aware of the opportunities open to them. We help them develop the necessary self-motivation to acquire the qualifications and experience they need.
We offer guidance to pupils in their subject choice for GCSE and A level examinations and provide a comprehensive, detailed service for all those applying to university, seeking work experience or wishing to arrange a gap year between school and higher education.
Whilst pupils benefit from patient, individual assistance, we also organize a range of collective activities that offer training in teamwork, managerial discipline and promote a more realistic understanding of the challenges and responsibilities of working life
